Former President Bill Clinton campaign in Fayetteville on Wednesday October 26, 2016

With Election Day less than two weeks away, Bill Clinton was in Fayetteville,North Carolina on Wednesday night October 26, 2016, to campaign for his wife, Hillary Clinton at Fayetteville State University. As someone who has been speaking at Democratic conventions, totaling ten, since he was in his early thirties, this was nothing new to him and he was determined to make a case for his wife that could help solidify her place in the White House. There, the former United States president weighed in on House Bill 2. According to President Clinton, House Bill 2 is based on fear, the polar opposite of Hillary’s campaign stance. He went on to say the government decided to come in and mess with local issues.

Clinton went on to say North Carolina’s Republican over the state’s bathroom bill. He also agrees with his wife that the decision of North Carolina legislature and governor pass the House Bill 2 did hurt this state. Going further, he made it clear that the state would have far better results figuring out a way to let people learn to live together and working it out in a humane and practical way. President Clinton also argued that the law contradicts the meaning behind his wife’s campaign slogan, “Stronger Together”. “When she says stronger together, President Clinton spoke of the former secretary of state. “When Hillary says this wall-building and anti-Muslim rhetoric is not only bad for America, it’s bad for the rest of the world. It’s because she knows we live in a world where we have to have partners.

President Bill Clinton also encouraged everyone to take advantage of early voting or to head to the polls on November 8th. Bill Clinton, also mention he knows what make America great again means, and all of you a certain age knows what it means. He ensured the crowd that it means I’ll give you the economy you had 50 years ago, and second, I’ll give you society you had 50 years ago. Many people were happy they could finally see President Clinton, and they prayed for his wife to become the president of the United States. President Bill Clinton assured he knew all about being the president, and that he would be on the side of his wife supporting the decisions she makes. He said working close with her, everyone in the state of North Carolina can have good paying jobs. The one-time Governor and Attorney General of Arkansas delivered his speech without notes while grinning merrily and making gestures with his hands. Several people in the audience were elated, some held up their camera phones and one woman even yelled, “Hey, Bill!”. Finally, President Bill Clinton concluded his speech, sipped from a glass of water and proceeded to shake hands with members of the front row audience.
